What is a "Tarleaf"?

A:

The name came from a d&d character I had back in highschool named "Taram". "Taram" morphed into "Tar" and eventually into "Tarleaf" because two syllables are better than one. There's no meaning behind it. I just like how it sounds + nouns are cool.

What's with the ?

A:

I needed a pfp for something so I drew this thing and ended up really liking it. I started using it in more places, and now it's tarleaf, I guess.

How much salt should I add to pasta water?

A:

More than you'd expect. I think common advice is like 1 tablespoon per liter or something but I've also heard it should taste as salty as the sea which seems ludicrous.
